Jean jumped a bit when she heard the voice, turning. A blonde boy stood in front of her hand out. He was on the handsome side, but his hair was long, and his clothes spoke money. It wasn’t really that she focused to much on so much as the long white wings coming from his back. She stared for a moment before shaking her head and shaking his hand. Manners she reminded herself, it was bad enough she stared as long as she did, but she’d never seen another mutant before. She’d heard of them sure, but seeing was a whole other thing. Not just that but this guy had wings, real, beautiful wings that she wanted to continue to stare at.

“Jean” She said warmly, letting his hand go. “Jean Grey….It’s okay I wasn’t expecting much welcome party type of thing….the Professor told me theres only 4 of you, and you guys have a lot of training going on and what not” She smiled looking around the mansion again. 

He shifted awkwardly when she stared, he wasn’t use to that as much as she wasn’t use to seeing it. He always kept they covered and the rest of the guys could care less about his wings unless he’d hurt them in some way. She didn’t seem….. disgusted? Or upset by them more fascinated. It still made him uncomfortable. She seem to either get it, or something because she was soon shaking his hand. Jean huh? She seemed nice, and sweet. But it didn’t really give him any insight on what she was like.

“Yeah, Summers is busy with the other guys. I….was ditching. The Prof asked me to come give you the grand tour” He laughed grabbing her bag for her and spinning on his heels. “Kitchens through there” He pointed to one of the doors. “It’s got a door to the back, and theres a map in your room which I will take you to now” He wasn’t sure what he was suppose to, and not suppose to show her really.

Bright green eyes turned up as they pulled through the large, golden gates of the institute. The taxi slowly pulling up to a stop in front of the large walk way. She was in awe, just pure awe. This place was huge, and just downright stunning. The door opened and she smiled at the taxi driver, climbing out. Her parents already paid the man, so after he’d helped her with her luggage he was driving off. It was unnerving that no one was here, but she didn’t really expect a welcome party for her. Pulling the small suitcase behind herself she slowly walked into the mansion. Nervous that something was going to pop out and tell her not to do that. 

Inside was just as beautiful as the outside, large stair cases and so many doors. This was just the foyer and it had her pausing to take in all the sights. So this was what her new home looked like? She couldn’t believe it really….she loved her family, she loved her home. Life, and so on….but this was something out of a fairy tale, and then the promise of being able to help her build her powers. Control them, it was to good to pass up after the accident. So here she was, confused, and in a completely new environment. Breathing out she closed her eyes for a second before opening them. “Hello?” She called out, clearly they didn’t think she was going to just walk in an explore on her own. 

Warren sighed, tossing his phone into the air and catching it before it had a chance to really travel any distance. Scott was being super extra grumpypants over the fact this new girl was coming in. Warren could care less, but he continued to tease the other. She couldn’t be that bad, the Professor seemed interested in her anyway. Maybe that’s why Scott was so grumpy. He nearly missed his catch when the voice echoed in his head. ‘Warren do greet our guest in the foyer, I feel we cannot be so rude to her on her first day’ The Professors voice echoed in her head and he smiled a bit, her? So the new girl finally arrived. ‘Sure thing Prof’ spinning around down towards the foyer Warren felt a little excited. New girl, new teammate. Maybe someone that could give Scott advice on how not to get his panties to bunch up. 

Pushing open the door that led to the foyer he smiled at the redheaded girl standing in the middle. She was, well she was cute. Really cute. Warren smiled a bit, waving as he walked up. “Hey! Sorry about all that, uh. The names Warren and I will be your tour guide for the afternoon” He greeted, smiling warmly at her, holding his hand out to her. Maybe even she could win the sunglasses wearing mutant.

This just seems like a headache.

Come on you cannot seriously not be interested in anything of the female shape, maybe she’ll be ugly, would you like it better if she was ugly?
